Overview

Sparktel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established international machinery business based in Nurney, Co. Kildare. If you're a fitter, plant mechanic, or car mechanic looking for a change from long hours, weekend shifts, and constant travel this could be the move you've been waiting for. Our client is part of a 240-year-old international group, and are looking for a Technician to join their busy aftersales team. You'll be working on engines, hydraulics, and electrics skills you already have in a workshop-based role with minimal travel, and a genuine focus on training and development.

  • Servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment (engines, hydraulics, electrics)
  • Assembly of new equipment
  • Delivering excellent, timely customer support
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Supporting the effective management of health & safety within the department
  • Continuously developing skills through internal and supplier training and meetings
  • Any additional tasks required by the business Experience Required You don't need experience in this specific industry. Our client is looking for people with a methodical, hands-on mindset and experience as a:
  • Fitter
  • Car/Diesel Mechanic
  • Plant or Agri Mechanic
