Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 July 2026

These terms govern your use of IrishTalents, including our website, candidate tools, and our browser extension once released. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What IrishTalents provides

We publish research derived from official Irish employment-permit records and provide tools that help you organise your job search, including a job tracker, employer research, and related guidance. We are a research and productivity service. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency, or an immigration adviser.

2. We do not provide legal or immigration advice

Nothing on IrishTalents is legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice, and no lawyer–client or adviser–client relationship is created by using the service. Immigration rules change and apply differently to each person's circumstances. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional before making decisions about a visa, permit, or your right to work.

3. No guarantee of sponsorship or employment

Our employment-permit data describes what employers have done in the past, as recorded in public sources. It is historical evidence, not a prediction. In particular:

  • an employer having sponsored permits before does not mean it will sponsor you, or that it is currently hiring;
  • an employer having no permit records does not mean it will refuse to sponsor;
  • we do not guarantee any interview, job offer, permit approval, or immigration outcome.

4. Data sources and accuracy

Permit records originate from data published by the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (DETE). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of DETE or any Irish government body. Public data is republished with the period it covers and the date we last refreshed it. Records can be incomplete, delayed, or contain naming inconsistencies, and employers may appear under trading names that differ from their registered names. You should verify anything material directly with the employer or the relevant authority.

5. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you add: your CV, tracked roles, notes, and profile details. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, and display that content back to you so the service can work. We do not sell your content, and we do not share your tracked roles or notes with employers or recruiters.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our research or database;
  • use automated means to access the service beyond the tools we provide;
  • attempt to identify individuals from our employer data;
  • interfere with the security or availability of the service;
  • upload content that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share;
  • use the service to mislead an employer or an immigration authority.

8. Importing roles from other sites

Our tools let you save roles you find elsewhere, including through a browser extension. Capture is always initiated by you, for pages you are already viewing. You are responsible for using those third-party sites in line with their own terms. Imported details are stored privately in your tracker, and you can correct any field we captured incorrectly.

9. Payments and subscriptions

Some features may require payment. Prices and what is included are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe. Where a plan renews, we will tell you the billing period before you subscribe and you can cancel to stop future renewals. Statutory rights to cancellation and refunds under Irish and EU consumer law are not affected by these terms.

10. Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially reduces what you receive, we will give reasonable notice. We do not promise uninterrupted availability and may suspend the service for maintenance.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, or decisions you make based on our research.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
