IrishTalents provides employment-permit research and job-search tools for professionals seeking sponsored work in Ireland. For the purposes of the GDPR, IrishTalents is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Account details. When you create an account we process your email address and authentication credentials. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase; we do not store your password ourselves.

Candidate profile. Information you choose to provide, such as your country, occupation, work experience, target role, target locations, your current immigration situation in or outside Ireland, and any CV you upload.

Job tracker content. The roles you save, the employer names and job descriptions attached to them, your stage and next actions, and your private notes. This content is private to your account. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters.

Payment details. If you purchase a product, our payment processor Stripe collects and processes your card details directly. We never receive or store full card numbers.

Usage and device data. Information about how you use the service, including pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type. Our analytics provider PostHog may also record session replays of your interactions with our interface so we can diagnose usability problems.

Support communications. Messages you send us and our replies.

Our sponsorship research is built from official Irish employment-permit records published by the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (DETE). Those records describe employers, not you. Viewing an employer's permit history does not disclose anything about you to that employer, and we never tell an employer that you researched or tracked them.

• To personalise your guidance — using your stated situation and goal to suggest relevant next steps. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To improve and secure the product — analytics, session replay, debugging, and preventing abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service.
• To take payments — processing purchases and managing entitlements. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To send marketing — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• To meet legal obligations — for example accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Some features generate guidance automatically, such as suggested next actions or CV feedback. These outputs are informational only. They are not decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and a human is never replaced by them in any immigration or hiring process. You remain responsible for verifying anything you rely on.

We use the following processors, who act on our instructions:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• PostHog — product analytics and session replay.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Sanity — content management for our articles and guides.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protecting sign-up and forms from automated abuse.
• logo.dev — retrieving public company logos.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal data.

Some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision to protect it.

We keep your account and candidate data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation such as tax and accounting. Analytics data is retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to how we process your data;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure, and analytics technologies to understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

The service is intended for people seeking employment and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the "last updated" date above, and where changes are significant we will notify you in the product or by email.
