Hartley People Training is a Waterford-based provider of contracted further education and training, delivering to Education and Training Boards across Ireland for 25 years. We work with employers, ETBs and learners to design and deliver practical training programmes, and we support every learner from enrolment to certification.
The role
As Training Coordinator, you will run training programmes from activation to close: scheduling, tutor booking, learner enrolment, documentation and reporting. You will be the day-to-day contact for tutors, learners and ETB staff on your programmes, and you will report to the Operations Manager on progress, risks and issues.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate the delivery of assigned training programmes to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Schedule courses, book venues and confirm tutors, ensuring the right tutor is in place for each programme
- Manage learner enrolment, attendance records and progression, and respond to learner queries
- Maintain programme documentation to ETB and Hartley People standards, including programme design, delivery records and assessment evidence
- Support internal verification and external authentication by preparing and filing assessment records on time
- Act as the point of contact for tutors, learners and ETB staff on your programmes, and resolve day-to-day issues
- Provide regular progress reports to the Operations Manager and flag risks early
- Maintain the learning management system and other training technology for your programmes
- Support the maintenance of the tutor panel, including onboarding new tutors and keeping tutor records current
- Travel to delivery venues and ETB offices as required for course launches, monitoring visits and learner support
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in project management, business or a related discipline
- Three to five years’ experience in a coordination, scheduling, project support or customer-facing role
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to run several programmes at once and deliver to deadline
- Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail, with a commitment to follow-through
- Confident communicator, able to build working relationships with tutors, learners and ETB staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
- Full clean driving licence
