About this role
Know the difference between a bag of calf nuts and a bag of cement? Can you load a van properly the first time? Then this job is for you.
Our client is a busy, established hardware and agri-merchant in Mid Kerry, supplying farmers, builders and the local community with everything from animal feed and farm equipment to building materials. They need a reliable, practical yard person to keep things moving.
The job
- Picking and gathering customer orders accurately
- Helping customers collect stock and loading vans, trailers and jeeps safely
- Keeping the yard organised and helping with stock management
- Dealing with customer enquiries and giving practical advice
You
- Come from a farming or building background, or know your way around a yard
- Are dependable, hands on and happy working outdoors in all weathers
- Can talk to a farmer, a builder and a first time DIYer with equal ease
- Want a steady, standard working week
The package
- Salary from €33,000, depending on experience
