About this role
Key Responsibilities
● Operate 360° excavators safely and efficiently on utility and civil engineering projects. ● Carry out trenching, excavation, reinstatement, and site preparation works for EV charging infrastructure. ● Work safely around existing underground utilities, including electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications services. ● Complete daily machine inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements. ● Follow site drawings, specifications, and instructions from Site Supervisors and Project Managers. ● Assist other members of the utility gang when required to ensure project deadlines are met. ● Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health & Safety procedures. ● Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements
● Valid CSCS 360 Excavator Operator certification (Ireland). ● Safe Pass. ● Previous experience operating excavators on civil engineering or utility projects. ● Good understanding of underground utility excavation and safe digging practices. ● Ability to work effectively as part of a utility gang. ● Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality. ● Flexibility to travel and work on projects throughout Ireland. ● Full clean driving licence is desirable.
