Accounts Payable – Kildare.

Our client, a Leading Civils contractor is actively seeking a professional to join their Accounts Payable team based in Newbridge, Kildare. The candidate should have previous experience in Accounts Payable, preferable in a Construction/ Engineering setting but not required.Role Duties:Processing, matching and posting large volumes of supplier invoices in a multi-currency/entity environmentLiaising with Suppliers, Project Support Team, Functional Departments and wider Finance Team to resolve invoice, account and payment queriesKey contact point for your assigned group of suppliersMonthly supplier account reconciliationsVarious AP Admin tasks, i.e. master data requests, document and mailbox management etc.Supporting with month end activitiesOther ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accounts Payable ManagerSupporting and participating in Finance process improvement projectsSupport audit-related activities as requiredQualifications & SkillsSkilled Professional with a strong knowledge of Accounts Payable & 3+ years’ experience minimumBusiness related qualification desirableProven track record of understanding accounting principles and VAT treatment on invoices (Reverse charge, Intrastat etc.)Strong team player who is able to work on own initiativeAttention to detail & compliance oriented (due to high volume of invoices/transactions monthly)Excellent organization & time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsConstruction Industry experience an advantageDynamics 365, Proactis & Tradex experience a distinct advantageProficient in MS OfficeBenefits:Competitive salary and benefitsDiscretionary annual bonus and annual salary reviewAbove market rate contributory pension scheme available from day one27 days annual leave per annum.Generous Private Healthcare AllowanceDedicated and continued investment in your professional development.For more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
