The Client
Our client, a leading banks in Ireland, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Agile Business Analyst to work in Dublin, Ireland.
What You’ll Love
This role is part of a long-term strategic project within the Bank, so this is an opportunity to work for the top bank in the country on a Permanent / Rolling Contract basis. The role offers a Competitive Day Rate and Hybrid working option is available.
What you are expected to have
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analysis, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience with Agile Business Analysis tools such as Figma, Axure, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Visio. Strong understanding of business analysis principles, Agile methodologies, and change management practices. Experience within the Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or Wealth Management domain. Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams and engaging with business stakeholders. Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Business Analysis certifications (e.g., IIBA, ISEB) are advantageous. Project Management certifications (e.g., IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous. Formal Software QA experience is advantageous.
What You will Do
Work with business users to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs, translate into epics / stories and identify associated candidate improvements from the current backlog. Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritise competing business demands Lead ongoing relationship with business SMEs to ensure core understanding of business operations to support generation of high quality design solutions aligned to business need Liaise with Scrum Masters, POs and engineers to translate business requirements into user stories, functional and technical with validated acceptance criteria. Undertake change management activities like change readiness, communication, training and support go live Implement design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate designs and validate proposed solutions, utilising prototypes and wireframes where appropriate.
