Our client, a leading Tier 1 company, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team for a surgical hub project based in Limerick. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proven track record in supporting project management activities.Responsibilities:Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Team Coordination: Support the coordination of project teams, including subcontractors and site staff, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.Quality Assurance: Help ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and specifications.Client Communication: Assist in serving as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.Risk Management: Help identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety records.Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management support, preferably with a focus on healthcare projects.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
