Associate Quantity Surveyor.

Our client, a well-established semi-state organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Dublin 2, operating under a hybrid working model. This role will provide in-house cost management expertise across a portfolio of residential developments, supporting projects from early-stage feasibility through to construction delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and delivery partners to ensure financial viability and value for money. The ideal candidate will possess strong senior-level QS experience, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in residential project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare high-level feasibility studies, cost plans, and development budgets for residential projects.Carry out viability assessments and cost modelling to support investment and development decisions.Procure and manage design teams and construction delivery partners.Lead cost, value management, and procurement input during design team workshops.Review and assess external quantity surveying reports, cost plans, and financial submissions.Manage project development budgets, post-contract expenditure, and financial reporting.Support Development and Construction Managers with day-to-day commercial and cost management.Participate in supply chain negotiations with contractors, developers, and consultants.Maintain and enhance internal construction cost databases, processes, and cost management standards.RequirementsMinimum 8+ years’ relevant experience in quantity surveying with a contractor, consultancy, or developer.Proven experience in a Senior QS / Associate Director-level role delivering residential projects.Demonstrable experience managing and mentoring project-level QS teams.Degree or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying.Chartered status (MSCSI / MRICS).Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutions.Market Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates, and benefits on offer.Direct Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managers.Seamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews, and negotiations.For more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
