Automation Engineer 12 month Contract Fully Onsite Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for an Automation Engineer based in the Cork Metropolitan Area. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing automation systems while ensuring optimal process control. The role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, developing innovative automation and robotics solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, reliability and efficiency. Qualifications
- Experience with automation and robotics technologies
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and process control
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
- Essential hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Level 8 bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
