Our client is a leading provider of pension, retirement and investment solutions, working closely with financial advisers and brokers throughout Ireland. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to take ownership of their Munster territory and drive continued growth across the intermediary market. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused professional from financial services, pensions, investments, wealth management or advisory who wants to take their career to the next level.You will manage an established broker network while identifying new opportunities, strengthening adviser relationships and increasing the company’s presence across the Munster market. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage strong relationships with financial advisers and brokers across Munster. Drive new business and increase assets under management. Develop and implement a regional business development strategy. Identify new intermediary and partnership opportunities. Provide brokers with technical, product and commercial support. Build relationships with key industry decision-makers and stakeholders. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments. Represent the company at adviser meetings, industry events and networking forums. Provide regular pipeline, market intelligence and performance reports to senior management. Candidate Profile QFA qualification is essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, intermediary sales or relationship management within pensions, investments, wealth management or financial services. Strong technical knowledge of pension and investment products. Proven track record of delivering commercial targets. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Commercially driven, self-motivated and capable of working independently. Full clean driving licence essential. Salary: €80,000–€85,000 plus bonus (OTE 150K+) pension and life assurance is offered.
