Chief Information Officer – Dublin 2.

TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on an exclusive Partnership basis with our client in Dublin 2, are hiring a CIO (Chief Information Officer) for their global technology IT Services business. Role Your role will have international focus, covering Europe (Ireland, UK, France, Germany and Belgium) as well as overseeing CIO Functions in Asia, Australia and South Africa. OPEX and CAPEX responsibilities will fall under your remit as well as full Technical responsibility for the global IT Function. Technical capability and Strategic Planning will be the basis of your role. You will report directly to the CEO and have 12 Direct reports, across the regions. Skills & Experience (Essential) *20+ years experience working in a Technical Capacity ideally with a Global player in Technology. *15+ years of C-Suite experience, with solid direct involvement at Senior stakeholder level and ideally as a Chief Information Officer. *MSc, BSc and multiple IT Certifications required (MCSA, CCNP, CISSP). *Strong technical expertise - Candidates must have worked in a technical capacity e.g. IT Manager, IT Director and be knowledgeable of changing/evolving technical trends globally. *Solid IT Security/CyberSecurity expertise - as mentioned, Certification in CISSP, CISA or equivalent essential. *CAPEX/OPEX expertise essential. *Strategic Planning for a Global organisation essential. International Travel will be part and parcel of this role - you can expect 50% Ireland/Europe based and 50% Asia/Australia/SA.
