Are you a natural communicator with a knack for negotiation? Storm Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Collections Agent on behalf of our client, a leading financial services group with a strong presence in Ireland and the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a busy Telephony Team where no two calls are the same. You’ll be the friendly, professional voice customers hear when it comes to managing their accounts, sorting out payment plans, and getting queries resolved quickly and smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls each day Helping customers with everything from due date requests to change of address and statements Negotiating payment plans and settlements in line with company policy Processing direct debit mandates and updating bank details Taking payments over the phone via debit card
What we’re looking for
Strong customer service skills, ideally from a customer focused environment Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills APA Qualified, must hold a Professional Certificate in Consumer Credit Good IT skills across Word, Excel and Outlook
It would be a bonus if you have
Knowledge of Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, or Consumer Credit regulations Previous experience in collections or underwriting
