Construction Manager – Wexford – Infrastructure ProjectA leading Civil & Utilities contractor in Ireland is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Wexford on a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will bring strong civil engineering experience and a proven track record managing site operations, subcontractors and safety compliance on large-scale projects.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all works are planned and carried out in accordance with the company safety statement and safe working practices.Visit sites regularly to support and guide site staff and operatives.Prepare, review and sign off RAMS with the site team, selecting the correct construction methodology.Coordinate and manage sub-contractors and suppliers.Feed into the works programme at both tender and construction stage, ensuring a resourced programme to completion is in place.Assist the site team with management of the contract budget.Control labour and plant on site, including sourcing labour and managing accommodation and transport, and working closely with the plant department on procurement.Monitor and record outputs with the site team, feeding information back to the estimating team.Act as the main point of contact for Gangers, Foremen, Engineers and the Client, maintaining and improving the client relationship.RequirementsEngineering degree or equivalent industry experience.Minimum 5 years' experience in the civil engineering industry.Authorised to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or Critical Skills visa).Full Irish driving licence.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutionsMarket Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offerDirect Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managersSeamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiationsTo apply, submit your CV via Indeed or email [email protected]
