Red Chair Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our client, a leading construction supplier based in Tralee, County Kerry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating between the trades team, contractors, and customers to efficiently schedule and manage installation and construction projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing multiple priorities. We are seeking someone who is process-driven, detail-oriented, highly organised, and customer-focused, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position, Monday to Friday. Full training and ongoing learning and development will be provided. Key Responsibilities Coordinate customer installation appointments and allocate installers efficiently, taking travel time and team skills into consideration. Liaise closely with the Installation Manager to ensure appropriate team members are assigned to each project. Keep customers informed of installation progress, provide regular updates, and deliver a high standard of customer service. Identify and resolve scheduling issues and conflicts, escalating matters where necessary. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date schedule and pending list of new, ongoing, and outstanding projects. Ensure all job and scheduling information is accurately recorded and maintained within the company’s communication and scheduling systems. Arrange and coordinate external contractors, including electricians, tilers, plasterers, and other trades, as required. Liaise with the Purchasing Manager to confirm stock availability and provide customers with product and pricing information when required. Manage Grant Scheme applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted. Process and despatch sales orders and invoices, record receipts, and coordinate customer collections. Provide general administrative support across the business and assist other departments as required. Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, scheduling, or a trades-related environment is essential. Previous experience coordinating trades, installations, contractors, or construction projects would be an advantage. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally and calmly. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
