Contracts Manager.

Our client, a long-established and international group of construction companies, has recently acquired an Irish company operating in the Utilities & Civil Engineering sector. As part of their strategic growth, they are building a strong leadership team and have a requirement for a dynamic Contracts Manager based in Dunshaughlin, Meath. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple civils and utilities projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering, particularly in landfill, earthworks, and site enabling projects, along with strong commercial awareness and leadership capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the successful management and completion of civil and utilities projects.Coordinate and manage site staff, plant, and subcontractors across multiple sites.Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSEQ standards and company procedures.Prepare and circulate daily progress reports to relevant stakeholders.Assist the Commercial Manager and QS in tracking variations and compiling valuations.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and decision-makers.Manage project handovers and ensure client satisfaction.Attend and lead progress meetings with clients and project teams.Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:Currently residing in Ireland.Commercially and financially aware with strong project delivery experience.Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil engineering, particularly in landfill, earthworks, and enabling works.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Benefits:BonusPension SchemeHealthcareCompany Vehicle Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutions.Market Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates, and benefits on offer.Direct Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managers.Seamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews, and negotiations.For more information or to apply directly, email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
