Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Executive Location: Ballincollig, Cork Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (In-office role) Salary: Competitive, commensurate with competence and experience We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to join our team, focusing primarily on conveyancing and family law. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to work at a high level within a dynamic legal practice. Day-to-day of the role: Manage registrations and certificates of title. Prepare contracts and reply to requisitions. Work under own initiative to manage diaries, review, and organise files to a high standard. Open and close files efficiently. Provide support in the absence of a solicitor with the day-to-day running of the practice. Manage file administration, including scanning and photocopying. Create, amend, and format legal documents and templates. Handle multiple client interactions with professionalism. Prioritise a large workload and multitask effectively to meet strict deadlines. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years relevant legal experience, particularly in conveyancing and family law. High level of competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude. Experience in other aspects of general practice would be beneficial.
