Cyber Security Engineer – Cork.

TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our Cork based client is looking for an experience cyber security engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a total of 5 years experience in IT with 2 years in a security discipline.

The Role & What You’ll Do

Develop, implement, maintain, upgrade, and test cybersecurity solutions. Provide top-notch cybersecurity support to users. Integrate and ensure the smooth operation of cybersecurity solutions. Securely configure systems, services, and products. Keep our systems, services, and products secure and up-to-date.

Required Skills & Experience

A relevant technical qualification and at least 5 years of experience in IT system administration, network operations, or cloud operations. At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity roles like analyst, engineer, penetration tester, or auditor. Strong technical knowledge of operating systems security, network security, and cybersecurity controls. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF) and standards (e.g., ISO ).
