Design Manager Location: North Dublin Area Contract: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to manage and coordinate the design stage of multiple design-and-build projects. The successful candidate will have a strong construction design background, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate design teams to deliver cost-effective, compliant solutions. Manage the design process, documentation and associated programmes. Liaise with site teams, contractors, clients and other stakeholders. Ensure client requirements and project objectives are met. Review drawings, specifications, technical reports and 3D models. Conduct design reviews and identify potential issues at an early stage. Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards and legislation. Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in design practices. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in design management, design coordination or a similar role. Significant experience with residential construction projects. Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards. Ability to interpret design documentation, drawings and 3D models. Proven ability to manage design programmes and meet deadlines. Main contractor experience desirable. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Project.
