Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Dietitian to join a supportive Adult Acute Service covering Kildare and Wicklow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with adults across community and residential settings, delivering evidence-based nutritional assessment and intervention to a diverse caseload. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and improving health outcomes for adults with a range of complex nutritional needs. The Role
As a Staff Grade Dietitian, you will
Assess, diagnose, and manage the nutritional needs of adult service users across community and residential settings. Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans based on best practice and clinical evidence. Provide dietary advice for a broad range of conditions, including malnutrition, chronic disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological conditions, and older persons’ care. Work collaboratively with Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. Educate and support patients, families, carers, and healthcare staff to promote optimal nutritional care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Recognised qualification in Dietetics. CORU registration. Previous experience working with adult caseloads is desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full driver’s licence and access to a car is desirable. What’s on Offer? HSE salary scale.
