The Role…. Engineering Manager – REF: 2603 We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to join our Water design team. The successful candidate will join a growing team with senior support and will have the opportunity as their career to acquire a broad range of skills and experience in design and project management, The Engineering Manager will have a client facing role. The responsibilities for the role are as follows: Client Relationship Management and Business Development – Maintaining and growing the business by managing existing workloads and winning new projects. Leading a team of engineers with responsibility for delivering projects, managing performance and developing competency. Project lead for Design & Contract management from conceptual phase through to project completion across a range of water sector projects, typically including municipal water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants. Leading the project engineering team for the development of preliminary and detailed design reports, calculations and drawings. Collaborate and plan design work and deliverables together with wider process MEICA team Ensuring all designs are completed in accordance with the relevant standards and specifications Ensuring all designs comply with all applicable Health and Safety standards and regulations Attending progress meetings with our Water design team, clients, contractors & supplier The location for this role will be in our Dublin office; however, we will also consider applications for our Kilkenny office.
