Title: Freight Forwarding Supervisor Location: Dublin 11 Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based, Mon-Fri, normal hours Package: €55k A Dublin 11 based freight forwarder now seeks a Freight Forwarding Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Freight Forwarding & Customs Clearance functions, supervising a small team handling road, air and sea freight movements. This role is critical to ensuring shipments are booked, documented, and cleared through customs accurately and on time. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be the first point of escalation for the freight forwarding function, ensuring customs documentation is accurate and compliant, service levels are met, and the team is supported, trained, and performing to a high standard. Key Area’s of Responsibility; Operational Management (Freight Forwarding & Customs) Quality and Compliance Customer and Stakeholder Management Administration and Reporting Team Leadership and Development Continuous Improvement Note: A detailed job description will be made available to suitable applicants. Minimum Requirements; Minimum 3 years' experience in multimodal freight forwarding, customs clearance, or international logistics Experience supervising or leading a small team Strong working knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and international trade compliance A qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Customs clearance / freight forwarding certification (e.g. FIATA, IATA, or equivalent) is desirable Dangerous goods / ADR certification desirable, or willingness to obtain Good Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) and experience with freight/customs management systems Experienced in handling commercial conversations with customers and carriers Track record of managing customer relationships and service level agreements For a confidential discussion on this or any other current opportunity, please contact Garvan Cerasi IAC-Aug26
