Freight Operations Executive.

Title: Freight Operations Executive Location: Kilkenny Package: €32,000-€38,000 DOE Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid after probation Support day-to-day European freight operations, coordinating shipments, carriers, and customer updates. Ideal for organised, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role will require access to a vehicle to commute to the office location. Following a successful probation period, there will be an option to move into a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

Arrange and track international shipments by road and sea Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and distribution partners Maintain accurate shipment records and input data into systems Provide timely updates to customers and assist with basic queries Support quotes, rate requests, and costing as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in freight or logistics operations, including groupage and full load shipments. Strong track record of customer liaison and attending operational or sales meetings. Experience using freight systems, CRM, or ERP platforms to manage shipments and documentation. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
