Our client, a a leading Civils Contractor, is seeking an experienced HSEQ - Health & Safety Officer to join their team on a permanent basis in Dublin. This role covers large-scale Civils and Utilities projects, working closely with site management to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role on major infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor the company safety management system across all site activities.Carry out regular site inspections and audits, identifying hazards and non-conformances.Prepare, review and update RAMS in line with project requirements.Investigate incidents, near misses and accidents, and prepare associated reports and corrective actions.Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety training to site personnel and subcontractors.Liaise with the Project Manager and site team to ensure safety is embedded in the works programme.Maintain accurate HSEQ documentation, records and statutory registers.Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act and all relevant construction regulations.Support the management of subcontractor safety performance and compliance on site.RequirementsMinimum 3 years experience as a Health & Safety Officer on large Civils and/or Utilities projects.Relevant safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, Diploma in Safety and Health).Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction regulations.Full clean driving licence.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutionsMarket Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offerDirect Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managersSeamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiationsFor more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
