Meath Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Clark Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Rigid and Articulated (Artic) HGV Drivers to join a growing transport operation based in Ashbourne, Co. Pay & Benefits Up to €22.00 per hour Daily tax-free subsistence of €13.67 Increased tax-free subsistence of €33.67 on shifts exceeding 10 hours Typical annual earnings of approximately €49,000 to €55,000, with higher earning potential depending on hours worked Full-time, permanent position Consistent weekly hours (40-45 hours) Modern, well-maintained fleet Ongoing training and support Long-term career opportunities Key Responsibilities Complete scheduled deliveries and collections safely and efficiently. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Comply with all Road Traffic legislation, EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and company procedures. Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues. Complete all required paperwork and electronic records accurately. Requirements Full clean Category C licence (Rigid) or Category CE licence (Artic). Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Previous HGV driving experience preferred. Good knowledge of road transport legislation and driver hours regulations. Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
