HR Generalist.

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist in West Donegal to join a busy HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract providing maternity leave cover. Supporting a sizable workforce, you will report directly to the Human Resources Manager (Ireland) and play a key role in delivering a professional and effective HR service across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing professional and timely advice. Support managers with employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and employee welfare issues. Lead workforce planning initiatives, identifying skills gaps and succession planning opportunities. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from role design through to offer stage. Provide guidance on employment law, HR policies and best practice. Support onboarding, probation reviews, performance management and employee engagement initiatives. Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with data protection requirements. Conduct exit interviews and manage leaver administration.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' HR experience preferred. Ideally CIPD qualified or hold a 3rd level degree in Business or HR Administration. Strong administrative, communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices and employment legislation.
