Title: Import Coordinator (air, sea and road freight) Location: North Dublin Terms: Full-time permanent, Package: €Neg Target Applicant: 2–3 years of recent multi-modal forwarding experience. We are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join our busy logistics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong freight forwarding knowledge who can confidently manage international shipments and support the smooth running of import operations across air, sea and road freight. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments from start to finish, ensuring all documentation, customs requirements and customer communications are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily import activities and oversee shipments throughout the full lifecycle Coordinate international freight movements with carriers, agents and internal teams Prepare and check customs paperwork and shipping documentation Monitor shipment progress, arrange collections and manage pre-alerts Provide regular updates to customers and maintain strong working relationships Assist with invoicing, cost control and operational records Ensure all processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience within imports and freight forwarding (2–3 years preferred) Good understanding of customs processes and international logistics Experience handling air, sea and road freight shipments Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with project cargo, out-of-gauge shipments or specialist equipment movements would be an advantage For a confidential conversation about this opportunity or others in the market, please contact Nicola Murphy.
