Litigation Legal Secretary Location: Dublin 2 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, in office Overview Our client, a leading Dublin law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join its busy Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to Partners, Solicitors, and Associates across a broad range of litigation matters. Key Responsibilities Providing comprehensive secretarial support to litigation solicitors and partners. Preparing, formatting, amending, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence. Managing court documentation, pleadings, affidavits, briefs, and case files. Filing documents with the Courts Service and liaising with counsel, clients, and third parties. Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, consultations, and court dates. Handling client communications via phone, email, and in person. Maintaining accurate case management and document management systems. Coordinating billing, invoicing, and expense administration. Performing digital dictation and audio typing duties. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Requirements Essential Minimum 3 years' experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Litigation. Excellent knowledge of Irish legal procedures and court documentation. Strong audio typing and document production skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using case management systems. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable Experience in Commercial Litigation, Medical Negligence, Personal Injury, or Employment Litigation. Knowledge of legal billing systems. Relevant legal secretarial qualification. Key Competencies Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Strong client service orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team player with a proactive approach. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
