MEICA Project Engineer.

Our client is seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to join their team delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects based in Newmarket on Fergus, Co. Clare. This role offers the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary engineering works involving mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems. The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability, a proactive mindset and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar engineering role.Responsibilities• Support delivery of MEICA packages across water and wastewater infrastructure projects• Ensure health, safety and environmental procedures are followed on site• Prepare and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments prior to works commencing• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams during project delivery• Monitor site progress against programme and assist in resolving technical issues• Support procurement of equipment and subcontract packages during project delivery• Oversee testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT and inspection records• Assist with preparation of project handover documentation including O&M manuals and as constructed drawings• Attend site meetings and engage with client representatives, stakeholders and project teamsRequirements• Minimum Level 7 Honours Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Environmental Engineering• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar project engineering role• Experience within water or wastewater infrastructure projects preferred• Strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint• Experience using GPS, total station or CAD within an engineering environment• Full driving licence with strong communication and problem solving skillsWhy Apply with Sonas?• Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutions• Market Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offer• Direct Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managers• Seamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiationsFor more information or to apply, contact [email protected]
