Occupational Therapist.

Medforce are currently recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Primary Care Team in Clondalkin. This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with post-qualification experience working with adults who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work as part of a Primary Care team delivering services to an adult population, supporting individuals to maximise independence, function and quality of life within their community.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

Provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to adult clients within a primary care setting. Deliver person-centred care plans aimed at improving independence in daily living activities. Conduct functional assessments including mobility, home environment and activities of daily living. Recommend and facilitate the provision of assistive equipment and home adaptations where required. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional and organisational standards.

Essential Requirements for the Occupational Therapist

CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to register. Previous experience working with an adult caseload is essential. Candidates must have post-qualification experience – new graduates will not be considered for this role. Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
