The Client
Our client, a leading banks in Ireland, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Oracle PL/SQL Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work in Dublin, Ireland.
What You’ll Love
This role is part of a long-term strategic project within the Bank, so this is an opportunity to work for the top bank in the country on a Permanent / Rolling Contract basis. The role offers a Competitive Day Rate and Hybrid working option is available.
What you are expected to have
Atlease 7+ years of experience in Oracle Database development with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL. Hands-on experience designing and developing packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and database schemas. Strong skills in SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, query optimization, execution plan analysis, and database design/data modelling. Experience providing production support, troubleshooting complex database issues, and acting as a technical SME/mentor.
What you will do
Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Perform database design, data modeling, and schema management activities. Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code to improve application and database performance. Analyze execution plans and perform performance tuning using Oracle optimization
