About this role
We are recruiting for experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapists to join a dynamic, neurodiversity-affirming multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a child-led, strengths-based and trauma-informed environment supporting neurodivergent children and young people.
The role will involve
- Delivering neuro-affirming assessments and interventions.
- Supporting children with a range of communication profiles, including AAC users, Gestalt Language Processors and minimally speaking children.
- Providing individual, dyadic and group-based therapy.
- Working closely with families through parent coaching and support.
- Collaborating with Occupational Therapists and other multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Contributing to team training and service development.
- Providing clinical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Maintaining clinical documentation and participating in CPD and supervision.
Requirements
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification.
- CORU registration or eligibility for registration.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, including paediatric experience.
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and young people.
- Strong understanding of neuro-affirming, child-led practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable experience includes AAC, Gestalt Language Processing, minimally speaking children, group-based intervention, parent coaching or clinical leadership. Full-time and flexible part-time positions available. To apply or find out more, email [email protected] or submit your CV today.
