One of our clients is currently seeking an experienced panel beater. They are one of the best-known private coach operators in the Midlands of Ireland. It's a family-run business based in Co. Longford
Key Responsibilities
Repair bodywork on a fleet of approximately 50 coaches, buses, and minibuses. Assess and repair accident damage, dents, and panel defects. Use fibreglass and/or aluminium repair techniques to restore damaged body panels. Fill, sand, prepare, and repaint repaired areas to achieve a high-quality finish. Colour match paintwork to existing vehicle livery and finishes. Carry out partial panel repairs and spot painting as required. Perform complete vehicle repaints on occasion. Compound, machine polish, and restore faded or weathered panels. Repair and weld vehicle framework and structural components when damaged. Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and fleet maintenance standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures. Work independently and efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime. Experience with commercial vehicles, coaches, buses, or large fleet vehicles preferred.
