We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team on a large-scale residential construction project in Suncroft, Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning plumbing and heating systems to a high standard while ensuring all work complies with current Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established plumbing contractor delivering quality installations on a major residential development.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall first-fix and second-fix plumbing systems in new residential homes.Install hot and cold water services, drainage, soil and waste pipework.Install sanitary ware, brassware, cylinders, and associated plumbing fixtures.Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Carry out pressure testing, commissioning, and fault finding as required.Ensure all installations comply with Irish Building Regulations and industry standards.Coordinate with site management and other trades to ensure programme deadlines are achieved.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Complete work to a high standard of quality and workmanship.Report any issues, delays, or material shortages to the Site Supervisor.Essential RequirementsQualified Plumber with recognised trade certification.Previous experience on residential construction projects.Ability to read technical drawings and work independently.Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices.Safe Pass (mandatory).Manual Handling Certificate.Full, clean driving licence is desirable.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Desirable QualificationsExperience installing heat pump systems.Experience with underfloor heating installations.Abrasive Wheels or MEWP certification (advantageous).Occupational First Aid certification (advantageous).Personal AttributesReliable and punctual.Strong work ethic.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards.
