About this role
CREGG are hiring for a Permanent Production Manager to work on a permanent basis with our Galway based automation client. No travel required. Qualified electricians who have people management experienced will be considered for this role. Email [email protected]/call 0860127415 to discuss. The Production Manager will oversee all day to day operations within our clients manufacturing facility which produces automated manufacturing equipment used in medical device manufacture, cosmetics manufacture etc. They will ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained while achieving timely completion of projects in line with agreed schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the daily activities of a team of electrical panel builders.
- Be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality are maintained, test procedures are adhered to and compliance documentation is completed and archived for every project.
- Oversee customer attended Factory acceptance testing of assemblies. Ensure FAT documentation and procedures are completed and adhered to.
- Deliver projects in line with customer timelines and production schedules.
- Ensure a clean and organised workshop is maintained at all times.
- Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Organise and manage weekly production schedule meetings.
- Liaise and build key relationship with suppliers, customers, service providers as required.
- Ensuring goods inwards/outwards, including loading/unloading, inspection, verification of documentation, and accurate system entry is managed accurately.
- Work closely with our design team and provide feedback from the production floor.
- Complete performance reviews with team members.
- Plan rotas and manage attendance/holidays.
- Be involved in the hiring and interview process of new members.
Requirements
Must be a qualified electrician or have qualification in mechatronics/automation/electrical discipline
- Must have excellent communication skills and must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
- Must have a full driver’s license.
- Must have legal right to work in Ireland
