About this role
We are currently recruiting a Professionally Qualified Social Worker (PQSW) to join a Mental Health Team based in Churchtown, Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering essential services to adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities of the Professionally Qualified Social Worker
Carry out comprehensive psychosocial assessments with service users Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals with mental health needs Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, and allied health professionals Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs Support service users in accessing appropriate community supports and services Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies Participate in safeguarding and risk management processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Requirements for the Professionally Qualified Social Worker
Degree in Social Work CORU registration (or eligibility) Experience working within mental health services desirable Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full driver’s licence and access to own transport Desirable Experience within community mental health teams Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and policies Experience working with crisis intervention and risk assessment What’s on Offer Competitive HSE-aligned salary Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist mental health setting Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Ongoing professional development opportunities
