Our client, a leading semi-state organisation based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Customer Information Systems (CIS) projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in the rollout of station-based technologies and the development of a new Customer Communication Centre, enhancing the passenger experience across the network.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a background in engineering or construction, and a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure or technology projects from inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Project DeliveryTake full ownership of CIS project delivery, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and defined scopes.Strategic Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement detailed project plans, managing all phases from initiation through to handover, in accordance with established project management methodologies.Team & Stakeholder ManagementDirect multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff, consultants, and contractors. Foster collaboration across departments and maintain strong stakeholder engagement.Technology Deployment OversightManage the rollout of station-based systems such as Passenger Information Displays, Public Address systems, Help Points, CCTV, and associated telecoms and civil infrastructure.Customer Communication Centre DevelopmentOversee the establishment of a centralized Customer Communication Centre, including systems integration, staffing, and operational readiness to enhance customer experience.Performance Monitoring & ReportingEstablish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues.Governance, Compliance & StandardsEnsure all projects comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal governance frameworks, including capital investment protocols.Leadership & Continuous ImprovementProvide leadership across the CIS programme, deputise for senior management when required, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the capital investment portfolio.Budget & Programme ManagementDevelop, manage, and report on project budgets and programmes of comparable scale and complexity.Essential RequirementsEducational BackgroundDegree in Building, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.Professional AccreditationChartered or working towards chartered status with Engineers Ireland or another recognized professional body.Project ExperienceMinimum of 7 years’ experience in project engineering or project management within a relevant engineering or infrastructure environment.Leadership & CommunicationStrong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders across large-scale projects.Project Management ExpertiseDemonstrated success in managing complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.MobilityFull, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
