Project Manager – Automation | Limerick We're recruiting on behalf of a leading Medical & Life Sciences automation equipment manufacturer in Limerick for a Project Manager to join their PMO team. This role sits at the centre of the business, leading cross-functional automation projects from initiation through delivery, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to keep schedule, cost, and quality on track for complex custom equipment programmes.

What you'll be doing

Owning medium-to-large automation projects end-to-end, scope, schedule, cost, and quality Acting as primary customer interface for updates, decisions, and issue resolution Building and managing project budgets, risk registers, and communication plans Partnering with Fabrication, Assembly, and Production Control to keep project and operational plans aligned Mentoring junior PMs/coordinators as the team grows

What you'll bring

5–7+ years' project management experience, ideally in automation or equipment manufacturing A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent practical experience Solid grounding in machining, fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing processes Comfortable with ERP systems and PM tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.) PMP or equivalent, and Lean/CI exposure, is a strong plus This is a great opportunity to join a growing PMO function within a business delivering high-spec automation equipment into the medical and life sciences space.
