Our client is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their Dublin team. Renowned for their expertise in Civils and Utilities work across Ireland, this full-time, permanent role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and a competitive salary package.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project teams to develop detailed project schedules, ensuring accurate planning and forecasting throughout all project phases.Maintain active communication with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate and monitor schedules from design through to commissioning.Track commercial milestones, ensuring they align with project timelines and budgets.Assist project managers and operational teams with resource scheduling to optimize project delivery.Create task-specific schedules within larger projects, considering dependencies, resource requirements, and critical path analysis.Continuously update and refine schedules to reflect current project status and incorporate changes or revisions as needed.Facilitate regular meetings with project managers to review schedules, identify potential delays, and resolve conflicts proactively.Prepare tender stage schedules by analyzing tender scopes, drawings, and timelines, integrating these into the overarching project programme.Develop resource allocation plans, including manning plans and histograms, to ensure efficient manpower deployment.Adapt and maintain work schedules to accommodate project needs, training sessions, and leave approvals, ensuring optimal resource availability.RequirementsRelevant third-level qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Civils or Utilities sector, with a strong focus on project planning and scheduling.Experience in international projects is advantageous, showcasing adaptability to global standards and practices.Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, Primavera, Visio, and PowerPoint for effective schedule creation and management.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless coordination among diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational and analytical capabilities to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach.Flexibility to adapt schedules and resources in response to evolving project demands.Why Apply with Sonas?Experts in Civils & Utilities recruitmentProvide you insights to the best salaries, rates, benefits on offerWe will get your CV seen by the right hiring managersOne point of contact – we will manage all of your applications, interviews & contract negotiationsEarly access to other opportunities not yet posted on jobs boardsZero CostFor more information or to apply directly email [email protected]
