Property Executive - Strategic Property & Acquisitions Location: Athlone/Hybrid Salary Scale: €53,072 - €76,227 Permenant Role Are you an experienced property professional looking to work on significant land, property and strategic development projects? We are looking for a Property Executive to join a Strategic Property Management team, playing a key role in identifying, assessing and acquiring land and buildings to support major regional and national development objectives. This is a hands-on property role combining acquisitions, due diligence, commercial negotiation, project management and stakeholder engagement. You'll work across complex property transactions from initial opportunity assessment right through to completion. What you'll be doing Identify and assess potential land and property acquisition opportunities, considering planning, infrastructure, market demand and development potential. Manage the end-to-end acquisition process, including planning, legal title, environmental, utilities, infrastructure, access and valuation due diligence. Coordinate external professional advisors including valuers, solicitors, engineers, planners, surveyors and environmental consultants. Prepare business cases, financial appraisals and acquisition recommendations for senior decision-makers and committees. Negotiate Heads of Terms, purchase agreements, options, leases, licences and other property transactions. Build strong relationships with landowners, developers, local authorities, State agencies and other key stakeholders. Manage project risks, acquisition budgets, transaction costs, timelines and governance requirements. Coordinate procurement and tender processes while ensuring value for money and strong governance. What we're looking for You'll be a commercially minded property professional who is comfortable managing complex transactions and influencing multiple stakeholders.
You should bring
A Level 8 third-level technical or related qualification. Strong professional experience within property-related functions. Experience in areas such as property acquisition, land development, commercial property, valuation, planning, development or asset/property management. Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage property projects and external professional advisors. Good commercial judgement and the ability to assess opportunities, risks and development potential. A full driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional who wants to move beyond managing individual assets and contribute to large-scale strategic property and development projects with long-term regional impact.
