Quantity Surveyor.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major infrastructure projects across the Leinster region. This is a key position working across major Renewable, Electrical & Civil Projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of commercial duties across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective cost management and contract administration. The preferred candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the civil or renewable energy sectors.Responsibilities:Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontractor and supplier packages.Monitor project costs and report on commercial performance to senior management.Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and opportunities from a cost perspective.Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts in line with contract requirements.Ensure compliance with relevant contractual and procurement guidelines.Collaborate closely with site and project teams to ensure alignment between commercial and operational objectives.Support with the preparation of monthly cost/value reconciliation and reporting.Advise on procurement strategies and assist in tender evaluations where necessary.Requirements:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.Previous experience on large-scale civil or renewable energy projects is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and cost management systems.Proficiency in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office Suite.Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to site.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutions.Market Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates, and benefits on offer.Direct Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managers.Seamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews, and negotiations.For more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
