Receptionist – Temporary Contract Location: Dublin 2 (City Centre) Dates: Thurs, August 27th until Friday, September 4th inclusive (aside from weekend) Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5pm with 4.45pm finish for the Post Office Run Abrivia Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the professional services sector to recruit a Receptionist for a short-term temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and professional administrator to join a welcoming and fast-paced office environment. The successful candidate will provide front-of-house support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of reception operations during a period of leave cover. Training and handover will be provided on day 1 of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage front desk and reception duties in a professional manner Greet visitors and handle incoming calls and enquiries Coordinate post and assist with daily Post Office runs Support general office administration tasks as required Maintain a welcoming and organised reception area Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements

Previous reception and/or office administration experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and approachable manner Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Availability for full duration of cover required (Thurs, Aug 27th until Fri, Sept 4th) Possibility of ongoing reception cover in the future for holidays etc.

Desirable

Experience working in a busy office environment Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
