About this role
We are presently recruiting a Reservations Supervisor for a prestigious hotel located in Dublin’s southside. Reporting to the Reservations & Revenue Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily reservations operation, support revenue optimisation, and ensure an exceptional booking experience for guests. You will lead and support a reservations team, manage reservations processes through OPERA PMS, and maintain high standards of accuracy, service, and efficiency. This is a Permanent, Full-time position, based in a well-established hotel environment in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Reservations team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent guest service. Manage all reservations, amendments, cancellations, and guest enquiries using OPERA PMS. Monitor room availability, booking trends, and revenue opportunities in partnership with the Reservations & Revenue Manager. Ensure accurate input of reservations, rates, guest profiles, and special requests. Work closely with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to support a seamless guest journey. Train, coach, and motivate team members, encouraging high performance and development. Assist with forecasting, reporting, and revenue management activities. Maintain compliance with hotel procedures, standards, and data protection requirements.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel reservations, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of OPERA PMS and hotel reservation procedures. Good understanding of revenue management principles and room inventory controls. Ability to lead a small team while maintaining a hands-on approach. Strong attention to detail with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Salary is dependent on experience, in the range of €37,000.
