Senior Civil Engineer – REF: 2602 The successful candidate will join an established team with senior support and will have the opportunity, as their career progresses to lead high value and high complexity projects. An example of some of the responsibilities for the role as the business needs require are as follows: Project lead for design & contract management of projects from conceptual phase through to project completion e.g., energy projects including power plants, renewables, pipelines and installations (gas, oil, water or wastewater), industrial buildings & utilities. Statutory compliance for new developments such as planning, fire cert and DAC applications, IPC license requirements. Building Control compliance and design in accordance with building regulations. Design requirements for energy projects such as Solar, Hydro, CHP and Power Stations. Design of other energy infrastructure related projects. Leading a team of engineers with responsibility for delivering projects, managing performance and developing competency. The Senior Civil Engineer will have the opportunity to progress their career within Fingleton White to be involved in the various business sectors and to provide experience across a wide range of projects. The location for this role will be in our Galway office, however we will also consider applications for our Dublin and Portlaoise offices.
