About this role

The Role…. Senior Design Engineer – REF: 2621 We are looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer to join our Energy, Utilities and Renewables design team. The successful candidate will join an established team with senior support and will have the opportunity as their career progresses to lead high value and high complexity projects. The Senior Design Engineer will have a client facing role. An example of some of the responsibilities for the role as the business needs require are as follows: Design & project management from conceptual phase through to project completion in the Energy and Utilities sectors in areas such as building services/energy upgrades, renewables (biogas, biomass, CHP, solar, hydro, industrial utilities), pipelines, and installations (gas, oil, water, or wastewater). Industrial and building services utilities design, HVAC, steam, refrigeration & compressed air systems. Energy retrofit upgrades of buildings and building fabric. Development of preliminary and detailed design calculations. Development of design drawings and specifications. Development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design reports. Balance of plant design. Design and implementation of energy saving projects. Attend and participate in HAZID/ HAZOP and LOPA studies Carry out PSDP role The Senior Design Engineer will have the opportunity to progress their career within Fingleton White to be involved in the various business sectors to provide experience across a wide range of projects. The location for this role will be in our Dublin office, however we will also consider applications for our Cork, Galway and Portlaoise offices.
