Our client, a Public Sector Body, are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Castletroy, Limerick.This role is initially offered on a 2 year rolling contract with great opportunities for extension.Benefits;35 hour work week30 days annual leaveYearly increment in salaryHybrid work after probationResponsibilities; Lead and manage the planning and delivery of major and minor capital projects across operational facilities.Develop project briefs in consultation with internal stakeholders and ensure project requirements are clearly communicated to all involved parties.Coordinate design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.Manage procurement processes including tender preparation, evaluation of submissions, and recommendation of contractor and consultant appointments.Oversee the preparation of specifications, drawings, and contract documentation for capital projects.Monitor project timelines, budgets, and financial commitments, providing updates and reports to senior management as required.Supervise contractors and project teams during the design, construction, and commissioning stages.Anticipate and resolve project risks, delays, or variations to ensure successful delivery.Support the commissioning and transition of services into new or upgraded facilities.Plan and oversee minor capital works and building maintenance programmes, ensuring facilities and infrastructure are maintained to appropriate standards.Provide advice on property, facilities management, energy efficiency, fire safety, and environmental compliance across the organisation’s estate.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support effective use, maintenance, and development of facilities.Requirements;Hold a Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) major academic award in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering by the relevant Professional Institute (Engineers Ireland). Or Have Full Membership of the relevant professional association: Engineers IrelandAnd Have had at least seven years’ satisfactory & relevant experience in planning, design, project management or construction of buildings or in the installation or maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and heating services of such buildings.For more information or to apply directly, please email [email protected] SONCATB
