Senior Group Financial Accountant - Private Equity - Dublin Excellent Opportunity to Join a High-Growth Investment Platform HireForce is working with a leading private equity-backed investment business to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant for its Dublin-based finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Big 4-trained accountant looking to join a dynamic, acquisitive organisation where you'll gain broad exposure to group reporting, technical accounting, corporate transactions, and finance transformation. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial reporting and control environment across a growing international group. The Opportunity This role offers exposure far beyond traditional financial reporting. You'll work across complex consolidations, acquisitions, technical accounting projects, and strategic finance initiatives while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements across multiple entities Support the preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS Lead month-end reporting and group consolidation processes Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation of new accounting standards Support acquisitions, disposals, and integration of newly acquired businesses Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process Prepare Board and investor reporting packs Review balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls Partner with finance teams across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistent reporting Drive finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and systems enhancements Support ad-hoc commercial projects and strategic initiatives About You ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA qualified accountant Big 4 or Top 10 training background 1–4 years' post-qualified experience within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, or a similar role Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills with experience working with ERP systems Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders Highly organised, commercially minded, and driven to develop your career What's on Offer Highly competitive salary, bonus, pension.
