Senior Project Manager.

Our client, a leading Civils and Utilities contractor in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of ESB infrastructure projects across Dublin and the surrounding counties. This role carries overall responsibility for the planning, execution, commercial performance and successful delivery of multiple ESB projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure work is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard. The successful candidate will bring strong experience across HV, MV, LV and EV infrastructure works, along with a proven track record managing ESB Networks projects and approval processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of multiple ESB infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.Manage projects involving HV, MV, LV and EV infrastructure works.Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resource plans.Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with ESB Networks standards and company procedures.Liaise with ESB Networks, local authorities, subcontractors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate project teams including engineers, site agents and commercial personnel.Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect programme and quality.Oversee procurement and subcontractor management, and ensure robust commercial control including cost forecasting, valuations, variations and final accounts.Support tender reviews, project planning and value engineering, while maintaining project governance and building long-term client relationships.RequirementsMinimum 8-10 years experience managing utility or civil engineering projects.Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.Proven experience delivering ESB Networks projects, including HV, MV, LV and EV infrastructure.Strong commercial and contractual management experience.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams simultaneously.Full clean driving licence.Why Apply with Sonas?Expertise: Specialists in Engineering and Technical talent solutionsMarket Insights: Access to the best salaries, rates and benefits on offerDirect Connections: We ensure your CV gets noticed by the right hiring managersSeamless Process: One point of contact for applications, interviews and negotiationsFor more information or to apply directly email [email protected] or apply directly on Indeed.
