Software QA Lead.

Software Testing Lead Location: Limerick, Ireland The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Software Testing Lead to lead quality assurance across a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) programme within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will define the testing strategy, lead a team of testers, and work closely with development, DevOps, validation, and business teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Experience with enterprise MES platforms, particularly Emerson Syncade, is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall testing strategy for MES implementations and enhancements. Manage and mentor a team of test engineers. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression testing. Work with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Manage defects, testing activities, and release quality using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira. Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities within a regulated environment. Produce testing metrics and communicate quality risks to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement through test automation and best practices. About You

You will have

Previous experience as a Software Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and Agile delivery. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar testing tools. Experience within a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or medical devices. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Desirable Experience with Emerson Syncade or another MES platform. Knowledge of GxP, CSV, and GAMP 5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. Understanding of MES integrations with SAP and LIMS.
